Side panel
Files with a built-in editor, search across the project, a project thread, workflows and a browser with tabs — next to your work, in one resizable panel.
Tools that belong next to your terminals open in one panel on the right — never as an extra pane in the grid. The narrow rail on the far right of the window chooses what the panel shows; it is there in every mode.
| Rail icon | Panel |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Every session, grouped by who needs you — see Dashboard |
| Files | The active project as a tree, with an editor |
| Search in project | Text search with file and line |
| Thread | A conversation about the active project |
| Workflows | Run saved workflows and approve their steps |
| Browser | Your running app, with tabs and Point & Fix |
- Click an icon to open its panel; click the active icon again to close it. The panel button in the title bar shows or hides the panel with the last view.
- Drag the panel’s left edge to resize it, double-click the edge to reset it, or focus the edge and use ← / → (Shift for small steps). The width is remembered.
- Files, search, thread and workflows follow the active project. Switch projects in the left sidebar and the panel switches with you.
Files
The files panel shows the active project as a tree. Folders open on click; .git, node_modules and target are hidden. File sizes are shown next to each file.
Click a file to open it in the editor below the tree:
- Ctrl+S or Save writes the file; the state next to the name says Saved or Unsaved.
- Tab inserts two spaces.
- Closing a file or opening another one with unsaved changes asks first.
The editor is meant for quick fixes — a config value, a typo, a line an agent got almost right. Agents see your saved changes immediately.
Search in project
Type at least two characters to search the whole project. Results are grouped by file with the line number and the matching line — up to 200 hits. Click a hit to open the file in the files panel at that line.
Thread
The thread panel is a coding conversation about the active project — the same as a project thread in Chat, but next to your grid. Each project has one; it keeps its history. Ask about the code, or switch the turn to Guided or Edit and let the agent change files, with a checkpoint first.
Workflows
Lists the project’s saved workflows with their step count and last run. Run here starts one without leaving the grid. When a run waits for an approval step, the button turns into Approve. Below, the latest runs show their status — running, succeeded, failed, waiting for approval, stopped, rejected. Open in Workflow Studio takes you to the full editor.
Browser
The browser shows your running app next to the code. It stays loaded in every mode, so you can switch to Chat and come back to the same page.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Tabs | Several previews side by side — + opens a new tab. Tabs are remembered |
| Back / forward / reload | Per tab |
| Address | Type localhost:5173, a full URL, or just a port number such as 3000 |
| Console badge | Once Point & Fix is connected to the page: the number of errors it logged since the last load. Click it for the console |
| Phone | Shows the page at phone width |
| Open externally | Opens the address in your default browser |
| Point & Fix | Select an element and let an agent change it — see Point & Fix |
An empty tab offers quick buttons for the usual dev server ports: 5173, 3000, 8080 and 4321.
